Migration pattern: Clinton Polacca Nampeyo Hopi Pot

This Hopi pot was hand coiled and hand painted by Clinton Polacca Nampeyo, a member of the Kachina Clan at Hopi/Tewa. Clinton is great-grandson of Nampeyo, a grandson of Fannie Polacca Nampeyo, and has made a name for himself by preserving and continuing the pottery tradition of his ancestors..

The present pot is a signature work by Clinton bearing the migration pattern that was often also favored by the great potters who were his ancestors. This is relatively large pot measuring 7 1/2 inches tall by 8 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in mint condition with no defects of any kind and it is signed by Clinton.
