Geraldine Gutierrez Avanyu San Ildefonso Pottery

Geraldine Gutiererz was born in 1959, the daughter of Helen and Frankie Gutierrez. She concentrates her activity in Avanyu designs along with feather bands, parrot tail feathers, and rain clouds. Her signature is the incredible polish that she gives her pottery.

The pot pictured here is 5 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches wide and is decorated with an Avanyu wrapped around the surface, along with checkerboards and other geometric designs.
