Alicia Kelsey Acoma Geometric Pattern Pottery Bowl

This is a very pretty bowl hand made and precisely painted with a geometric pattern by Alicia Kelsey of the Acoma Pueblo. Alicia was born in 1979 and taught the art of making pottery by her her mother, Darla Davis. She concentrates on traditional designs like parrots, geometric patterns and polychrome schemes.

The pot pictured here is decorated with a pattern of black and white triangles painted precisely over the surface of the pot. It measures 5 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches in diameter.
