Carolyn Concho Large Contemporary Acoma Seed Pot

This gorgeous seed pot with a contemporary decoration is hand made and hand painted by Carolyn Concho from the Acoma pueblo. Carolyn's virtuosity in producing some of the most attractive decorations on usually rather small pottery is well known. The present offering is decorated with boldly painted geometrics, lady bugs and geckos in relief and a butterfly one of whose wings is raised over the surface of the pot.

The pot is a large one for Carolyn, measuring 2 3/4 inches high by 6 inches in diameter.
