Pauline Romero Shear Elegance Jemez Pot
This piece of clay art was handmade and hand-decorated by Pauline (Anita) Romero from the Jemez pueblo. A potter's ability is revealed in the perfection of the form of their creations and the elegant [piece shown here testifies to Pauline's talent as a potter. Note the appealing slant of the opening and the flowing form of the pot that is stone polished to perfection.
Pauline is a well-known potter from Jemez with about 20 years of experience and with awards in juried competitions in the Gallup Ceremonial Exhibition.
The pot measures 8 inches in height and 5 inches in diameter and is in mint condition with no defects. It is, of course, signed by Pauline.
