Roberta Youvella Silas Large Red Mosaic Hopi Pottery

Roberta Youvella Silas, belongs to the Kachina Clan at Hopi/Laguna and has been creating wonderful works of clay art since 1960. She is famous for her mosaic-like patterns that combine and interweave Hopi symbols. She concentrates black and red on yellow or black on red cylinders, vases, bowls, jars and other shapes.

This is authentic hand made and hand painted pottery by Roberta and is quite large measuring 8 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches in diameter. It is painted with black over a rich and deep red surface making it one of Roberta's hard to fined red pottery. The pot has no defects and is signed by Roberta.
