Rose Marie Lewis Santa Clara Avanyu Pottery This beautiful, handmade pot was hand coiled and hand painted by a master of the etching/carving technique, Rose Marie Lewis from the Santa Clara pueblo. Rose Marie is a master of carving clay, decorating her pots with traditional symbols of Pueblo life, such as avanyues and Kokopelis. The present offer is decorated with the avanyu (serpent - protector of pueblo people). The pot measures 5 1/4 inches high by 6 inches across.
