Pauline Romero Melon Wedding Vase Jemez Pottery
This melon wedding vase was handmade and hand-decorated by Pauline (Anita) Romero from the Jemez pueblo. The design consists of slanted melon ribs that swirl as they run along the surface of the pot. The vase is painted in two different hues and is stone polished to a very beautiful shine.
Pauline is a well-known potter from Jemez with about 20 years of experience and with awards in juried competitions in the Gallup Ceremonial Exhibition.
The bowl measures 11 inches in height and 5 inches in diameter and is in mint condition with no defects. It is, of course, signed by Pauline.
