Dena Suina 20-Children Story Teller Cochiti Pottery

This is a beautiful storyteller hand made and hand decorated by Dena Suina from the Pueblo of Cochiti, NM. Dena's storytellers are famous for their delicacy and detail and the present piece attests to that fame. The pottery measures 6.5 inches tall by 5 deep by 4 wide and is decorated with the relief figures of 20 children on the back, front and lap of the mama storyteller some holding items such a books, balls and pottery. This is a true collector's item!
