Gorgeous Pueblo Storyteller: Judy Lewis Acoma pottery
This is a beautiful, well-made and perfectly balanced storyteller made by Judy Lewis of the Acoma Pueblo. Judy is an acknowledged master potter from Acoma whose work is highly valued by collectors. Among Judy's best special creations are bowls and ollas painted to perfection with chard-like designs. But her storytellers are a sight to behold.
The present storyteller is singing to two children, and is holding a piece of pottery. She further adorned with replicas of small animal life, such as butterflies, lady bugs, and so on. The pottery is signed by Judy.
The pot measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches deep by 2 1/2 inches wide.
