Gerardo Tena EXQUISITE Mata Ortiz Pottery
Gerardo Tena is one of the Master Potters of Mata Ortiz. He is world renown for his absolutely exquisite and detailed decorations on pottery. The color of his pots can only be described as sweet, and his cuadritos (small squares) are as accurate as if they were made by a machine. The pot shown here is painted with impeccable precision and at the same time outstanding artistry. It measures 10 3/4 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches in diameter and is in perfect condition without any defects or flaws. The pot is signed by Gerardo.
