INDIVIDUAL MATA ORTIZ POTTERY

Olga Quezada Elegant Large Mata Ortiz Pottery
This is a beautiful, large and elegant olla created by Olga Quezada. This delicate olla is as thin and as lightweight as can be. Olga and Humbero Ledezma, her husband, are one of the best potting couples in the village. They are featured in The Many Faces of Mata Ortiz.
The stunning simplicity of the pot, and its high polish attest to the great artistic talent of this potter. Note the modernistic touch of a square mouth opening!
This 'Exquisite Jewel' measures a full 12 in tall by 10 in wide. This is a true masterpiece of fine ceramic art.
