This elegant, perfectly polished piece was made by Suzy Martinez , a second generation potter in Mata Ortiz. The tear drp shape comes to a pointed tip that is also decorated especially with a design of lines along its length. The mirror like polish on the pot is a simple indication of Suzy's prowess as a potter.

This is a good size piece, measuring 8 1/2 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide. It is signed by Suzy.
