This is truly beautiful, magnificently crafted very impressive piece of pottery by master potter, Leonel Lopez Saenz from Mata Ortiz. Leonel is one of the most successful potters in Mata Ortiz, whose work is highly sought after by serious collectors of Mata Ortiz pottery. The pot shown here bears is decorated with a Nativity Scene containing the Magi on Camels, the Manger, Mary and Joseph, Stable hands, and assorted animals all etced in minute detail in Leonel's inimitable style.
