Lila Silveira Museum Quality Mata Ortiz Olla This pot was authentically hand pitched and hand decorated by Lila Silveira from Mata Ortiz. Lila, a second-generation potter, has developed to full maturity in both the structural integrity of her pots and the fine work in her painting. The present olla is decorated in the sweeping band style of the Quezada family with the band representing the bodies of serpents, artistically stylized.
